Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for savvy senior PHP developers to work across very complex projects.


We’re seeking 5 years of commercial experience across various industry sectors.


The ideal candidate should have experience in complex high-volume enterprise-grade application development that includes end Framework, Doctrine ORM, HTML5 / CSS3 / Frontend frameworks like ReactJS, MySQL database, Magento, WordPress.


Working with an existing team of experienced software engineers and reporting to our project management team with timely updates, roadmaps, issues and solutions, you will proactively seek solutions and seek guidance where required to complete projects.


A good eye for detail, ability to work through tasks, and strong communication with your team to discuss alternative options, limitations, etc. is required for this role.


Working as part of a team, you will liaise with management, project managers, your team as well as other key stakeholders to complete the workload.


This role is set to challenge the right candidate with personal development and growth in your chosen field of software development and to empower you to build better apps and software for our clients.

Requirements and Responsibilities


  • 5 years of commercial software development experience


  • You will have a portfolio of work that can be showcased to our recruitment team and management showing your experience


  • Deep understanding of PHP and above related technologies


  • Proficiency in programming languages HTML5 / CSS3 / Frontend frameworks like ReactJS


  • Experience in Zend Framework Doctrine ORM, MySQL database, Magento and WordPress


  • Good understanding of content management systems and app development platforms being your main working platform


  • You are keen to suggest improvements or alternative options regarding functionality where you can see this will benefit all involved


  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues


  • Proficient with latest testing techniques and troubleshooting
